I might be interested…. But, What does the Aquarium do? 

The Aquarium has been a part of the Galway & Salthill Community since we opened in 1999.

Our focus has been to present the world of water, our native biodiversity in a way that is both educational and fun. 

Since we opened we have joined BIAZA & EAZA which ensure our Aquarium meets the gold standard of Animal Care, Health, Conservation, and Education.

We were the first Aquarium to host Beach Clean ups, and as of only a few years ago were the first Aquarium to join the GLOBAL #OurOcean Campaign against Marine Litter.

Our experiences are informed by passion about all things related to the sea, we have had some fantastic reviews on Google, and our monthly surveys are always full of compliments. The Aquarium knows how to look after our wonderful visitors. 

So, the Aquarium is part of its community, we care for the environment and support causes close to our heart. We have an amazing attraction, all weather, and free parking.
