Easily accessible by public transport from the city centre, there is plenty of free car parking available within the aquarium complex and, at busy times, an overflow car park is available.
Atlantaquaria is a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute cycle from the centre of Galway City (Eyre Square) Bike Parking is available within the aquarium complex.

Driving Directions —
Travelling from the East – from the Dublin Road, follow signs for Galway West or Salthill. Follow the road until you get to the promenade. Follow the road until you get to the roundabout in Salthill. The aquarium is just off the roundabout.
Travelling from the West – Continue on the coast road until you get to the promenade. Turn right on the roundabout in Salthill. The aquarium is on the left.
Free Parking for cars is available within the Aquarium Complex and there is an overflow car park available just across the road.

Coach Parking is available along the promenade. There is no coach parking available within the aquarium complex. For special access requirements, please contact us in advance.
