SEA 1. Walk By Water – GALWAY CITY
As Galway is a City of Rivers, one of the nicest walks starts at Nimmo’s Pier and takes you past the Claddagh, The Fisheries Tower, the Galway Cathedral, and ends by the Salmon Weir.
This walk can be done in a circle, as if you go by the Canals (Via the Latin Quarter) you can complete the cycle and end at the Galway City Museum.
If you would like to take a fantastic tour, while in Claddagh we highly recommend you head out with the AMAZING team at Galway Bay Boat Tours, where you can explore Galway City by the sea.
Galway City Museum is located directly across from Claddagh and you must visit, just to get a sense of our cultural connection to fishing and the sea.
