Nóirín represents the Aquarium in the fields of education and conservation dealing with professional bodies, state agencies, local authorities, higher education institutions and schools. A key part of her role is identifying opportunities where Atlantaquaria can play a lead role in the delivery in marine-focussed education and conservation whether funded through HEI’s, nationally or from the EU.

Leading a team of three, she has a strong background in developing new concepts and materials, stakeholder engagement and project management, working with individuals, small and large organisations, public bodies and NGO’s.

Nóirín holds a Doctorate in Fisheries Science from GMIT, a BSc from NUI Cork and joined staff in 2008.
