Traveling Directions
The aquarium is easy to reach by public transport from Galway City Centre. Free parking is available on site, and an overflow car park is open during busy periods.
You can also walk (about 30 minutes) or cycle (about 10 minutes) from Eyre Square. Secure bike parking is provided within the aquarium complex.

Driving Directions —
Travelling from the East – from the Dublin Road, follow signs for Galway West or Salthill. Follow the road until you get to the promenade. Follow the road until you get to the roundabout in Salthill. The aquarium is just off the roundabout.
Travelling from the West – Continue on the coast road until you get to the promenade. Turn right on the roundabout in Salthill. The aquarium is on the left.
Free Parking for cars is available within the Aquarium Complex and there is an overflow car park available just across the road.
Travelling by Coach:
Coach Parking —
Coach Parking is available along the promenade. There is no coach parking available within the aquarium complex. For special access requirements, please contact us in advance.
