DR. MARIA VITTORIA MARRA
EDUCATION AND PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT OFFICER
Maria is an Italian marine biologist who moved to Galway almost 9 years ago to study sponges. She joined the aquarium team in 2021 and works on ocean literacy and conservation activities as part of the education team. She is involved in collaboration across the island of Ireland, Europe and beyond.
