Wreckfish as their name suggests are often found in rocky areas with caves or even shipwrecks and can live for over 50 years growing up to 200 pounds in weight! They have a large mouth and will feed on a variety of animals such as crabs, octopus, and other fish. Juvenile Wreckfish swim in shoals for protection, but adult fish are often solitary as they have very few predators. Adult Wreckfish are often found in deep water up to 200 meters.

The Gilthead Bream are a silver fish that can grow to 70 cm. They feed mainly on invertebrates and small fish and can be found living in seagrass and sandy seabeds. They get their name from the golden dash around the side of their head.

European Bass are a slow-growing species, that can grow up to 100cm in length, and can live for up to 30 years. As a protected species there are conservation laws in place for commercial and recreational fishing. Being nocturnal, they usually feed at night. As juveniles, they feed mostly on invertebrates. The adults prefer to hunt for a variety of smaller fish.
